Bandi Fish Fry - Crispy Roadside-Style Fish
Ingredients
- 500g fish (any firm white fish will do)
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground garam masala
- 1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
- Juice of 1 large lime
- 1 tsp salt
Method
- Mix all the ingredients adding a tbsp of water to make a thick paste. Coat the fish with the paste and let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the fish for 3-4 minutes on each side until deep brown and cooked through.
Serving Suggestion
π Serve with Dal and steamed rice.
