Vindaloo - Authentic Goan Fiery Curry

A boldly spiced masala paste to make a classic Vindaloo Curry. For true spice lovers! Everything you need is in the jar - just add your protein of choice and fresh coriander for an authentic, fiery Goan curry in 45 minutes.

What is Vindaloo?

Vindaloo is a fiery, tangy curry from Goa, India. It's known for its bold heat and complex flavours - not just hot for the sake of it, but with layers of spice, tang, and depth. Our paste contains all the authentic Goan spices including tamarind and vinegar for that signature tang.

Ingredients (Serves 4-5)

  • 1 jar Vindaloo Masala paste 
  • 800g protein (chicken, seafood, lamb, pork, paneer, or vegetables)
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • 250ml hot water

For lamb: Add an extra 100ml water

Method

1. Place a large pan over medium heat and cook the Vindaloo Masala paste for 2 mins.

2. Add your choice of protein. Stir well for 5 mins to seal.

3. Pour in 250ml hot water. Combine and bring to a boil. Cover and cook on low-medium heat according to the cooking guidelines below:

  • Chicken: 20 mins
  • Lamb: 40 mins (add an extra 100ml water)
  • Seafood: 10 mins
  • Vegetables and Paneer: 15 mins

Stir halfway through the cooking time. Add the chopped coriander. Stir gently.

Cover and simmer for a further 2 mins.
